In June 2021, we held our fourth Zoom giving event with members. Over 30 members joined us for a wonderful evening in which we discussed three impactful charities including:

• Bryce's Journey nominated by Maria Fraga:  Bryce’s Journey, Inc. is a women/minority led 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization dedicated to serving the most vulnerable families in Boston, MA who have children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.
   

• Dorchester Food Co-Op nominated by LIz Wang:  The Dorchester Food Co-op is a grassroots initiative to build a community & worker-owned grocery store that makes healthy food accessible and advances economic opportunity through neighborhood engagement.
   

• The Spina Bifida Association of greater New England nominated by Lauren Dyer:  The Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England (“SBAGNE”) is a non-profit that supports, connects, and empowers individuals and families living in New England with Spina Bifida.

 

After presentations and Q&A, the Spina Bifida Association of greater New England was selected to receive our collective donation of over $3,000. Many thanks to Lauren Dyer for introducing us to this charity and for sharing her personal story!
